We are looking for a Benefits Manager to work within a team of passionate and collaborative Global Benefit professionals to manage the design, governance and compliance of the pension and benefits plans for the US and South America.
The role requires to provide strategic support and consulting services to the business units, benefit committees, HR operations and business support teams. Reporting to the global Head of Benefits and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will:
Ensure that the benefits policies and programmes support the strategic direction of the business. Maintaining strong awareness and knowledge of best practices and development in pension and other benefits Monitoring the performance of the service providers, reviewing change requests and assisting in the planning and execution of continuous improvement initiatives. Ensures compliance with all legal requirements including ongoing updates to legal requirements. Assists stakeholders in resolving complex issues regarding insurance and other benefits, policies and procedures by analyzing issues and provides advice and recommendations Liaising and collaborating with actuaries, legal counsels, People Services, consultants and service providers. Manages benefits team members by coaching, counselling, and mentoring employees. Supporting collective bargaining activities from a benefits standpoint, What you'll bring To succeed in role you will have:
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or any other relevant domain Minimum 8-12 years of experience of working in a Pension or other Benefits management role Demonstrated experience across all aspects of benefits gained ideally through a combination consulting and in-house roles. Project Management and Organizational skills In-depth knowledge of US and South America pension and other benefits and tax legislation Very good communication skills in English, (Spanish would be an asset) Ability to function well in a dynamic environment with many stakeholders and priorities Strong track record of vendor management, designing benefit policy, strategy and governance programmes of work Strong team and stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to influence across the organisation Infrequent travel may be required What we offer We are committed to providing our employees with a generous benefits package.
