Manager - Accounts Payable Location Memphis, TN (Downtown area) : We are seeking a Manager of Accounts Payable to join our fast paced growing Team! Job Responsibilities: Manage and direct all aspects of the Accounts Payable process. Oversee the flow of information from Materials Management and other departments necessary to accurately process timely payments to vendors. Ensure integrity of Hospital and Departmental financial activities and protection of relevant assets by complying with established policies and procedures. Coordinate enterprise system project management and on-going administration for new implementations and upgrades for the accounts payable modules, including any interfaces. Work in conjunction with the Sr Tax Accountant to ensure compliance with all Federal tax matters pertaining to accounts payable. Assist with reviewing and completing the 1099 Misc reporting process Work with the Director of Disbursements on Internal Audit issues related to Accounts Payable Collaborate with other members of Financial Services on matters of common interest. Manage and evaluate accounts payable staff as appropriate. Prepare work papers and supporting detail for the annual external audit process within deadlines established by the auditors Minimum Education and/or Training: Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in accounting or finance. Minimum Experience: Five (5) years Accounts Payable experience in a financial setting that includes two (2) years of supervisory experience is required Experience with an enterprise system is also required. Experience in a healthcare-related environment is preferred.
