Manager, Accounting & Fin Reporting Job Purpose The Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting will oversee and coordinate the preparation of consolidated financial reports including, but not limited to, quarterly and annual reports, balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flows, required footnotes and management's discussion and analysis. This position will also coordinate the external audit of the prepared financial reports and stay abreast of changes to accounting requirements to ensure they are implemented. In addition, this position will coordinate and execute internal control process reviews and coordinate needs of internal and external auditors.
Essential Responsibilities Responsibility % Of Time Lead the quarterly financial statement disclosure process, which includes preparation of quarterly and annual reports, including financial statements, footnote disclosures, and management's discussion and analysis. Maintain documentation standards required to support the disclosures. Ensure delivery of accurate, timely and relevant financial information to internal and external customers.

Perform impact analysis of changes in accounting pronouncements or regulations and lead accounting department and management in implementing necessary changes.

Work with management to maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting. Establish, refine, coordinate and administer the accounting department's control documentation and testing procedures. Facilitate discussions with key process owners to identify key controls to be tested.

Research and analyze internal control deficiencies to determine what corrective actions are needed. Assist in risk analysis of overall accounting function and processes.

Partner with internal audit on reviews of internal controls to ensure accordance with company guidelines and completion within required timelines. Collaborate with accounting management to coordinate external audit requests and requirements.

Coach, lead, train and develop individuals on corporate accounting team.

Qualifications Required Education Course of Study Bachelor's Degree
Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Preferred Education Course of Study Master's Degree
Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Relevant Experience Supervisory Experience 6 - 10 yrs minimum
1 - 5 yrs minimum
Language(s) Required Language(s) Preferred English

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required · Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and seven (7) years of private accounting work experience or four (4) years Big 4 public accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· CPA professional certification.
· Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
· Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
· Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
· Ability to maintain the highest level confidentiality.
· Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
· Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
· Masters of Business Administration or Masters of Accountancy.
· Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting theories and principals and the ability to apply that knowledge to work projects.
· Strong knowledge of internal accounting controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
· Experience working with financial statement presentation and SEC public reporting such as 10K and 10Q filings.
· Experienced at preparing and delivering presentations in a business setting.
· Ability to work independently to meet organizational goals.
· Highly organized and detail oriented.
· Ability to manage and direct multiple complex projects simultaneously to drive solutions that meet or surpass business expectations and deliver project milestones on-time and within budget.
· Demonstrated ability to apply management principles and techniques to direct, educate and motivate employees.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex and detailed information to a diverse population.
· Exceptional problem resolution and process improvement skills.
· Superior analytical, organizational, decision-making and project management skills.
· Fully versed in administrative and budgetary management functions.

Safety Risk Factors: The employee is rarely required to twist back and/or neck and walk on a slippery or cluttered floor surface.
