We're looking for people who love people. Hosts, really guide the whole experience for our guests, so a passion for providing a great time is just as important as the ability to multitask at Tonchin. We're looking for energetic, friendly people, who have a passion for wine, Japanese food, and amazing experiences.
Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift heavy items
Engage with guests
Ability to learn new items as they become available - we have a rotating menu of fresh local foods that will be rotating often.
Ability to work as a team - we view the restaurant as a whole team and not as sections assigned to only one person
Ability to memorize table and seat numbers, label items and run them to the appropriate table and seat without having to "auction" them off
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of food safety or willingness to learn
