Responsibilities: Guest Relations: Greet guests with warmth and sophistication, ensuring a memorable first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Front-of-House Operations: Oversee the flow of service, coordinating between the kitchen and the dining room. Ensure the restaurant is set up to the highest standards of cleanliness and aesthetics. Staff Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house staff to deliver impeccable service. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate special instructions and menu changes. Customer Service: Anticipate and address guests' needs, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and grace. Wine and Menu Knowledge: Have a comprehensive understanding of the menu and wine list. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations. Problem Resolution: Resolve any issues that may arise during service promptly and diplomatically. Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to address guest preferences and dietary restrictions. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Maitre D' or in a similar role within a fine dining establishment. Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, menu offerings, and wine service. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Impeccable grooming and presentation. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
