key Accountabilities Perform plant Preventative / Predictive Maintenance (PvM's and PdM's) as assigned. Troubleshoot / repair components and equipment as assigned. Install equipment as directed following all applicable mechanical, electrical codes and governmental regulations. minimum Qualifications / Skills / Experience · Three years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and/or two years formal technical education from an accredited university or trade school.
· A motivated team player, with good problem solving skills and a strong work ethic.
· Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, also call-in for plant breakdown during off shift hours, as needed.
· Ability to read and utilize electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blue prints, and drawings as required to install and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency with control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and variable frequency drives with computer troubleshooting and digital electronics a plus.
· Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing of electrical systems ranging from 24VDC - 600VAC safely working with electrical hazards using proper PPE.
· Demonstrated proficiency with instruments/tools - multimeter, megohmmeter, oscilloscope, chart/trend recorders, drills, presses, saws, hydraulic jacks.
· Ability to solve practical problems and work within situations where only limited standardization exists.
· Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
· Ability to perform within time constrained situations and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and make competent decisions.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience · Associate degree in industrial maintenance technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, or equivalent
· Five years or more of maintenance/electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
· Demonstrated experience safely working with the hazards and using the associated proper PPE on voltages up to 25kVAC
· Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing of electrical systems up to 24kVAC
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency with various maintenance software; AB PLC programming, WonderWare, ABB block logic programming, CNC programming, HMI programming
· Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hydraulic / pneumatic controls
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency with PIDs loop and process controllers
· Welding and fabricating experience
· Demonstrated experience with Risk-Based and/or Condition Based Maintenance Philosophy
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS · Industrial Maintenance Electrical License and/or Journeyman License/Certification as an Electrical Maintenance Technician
