Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician
* Provide support outside normal working hours, if necessary, and provide weekend support on rotation with fellow Maintenance Technicians
* Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safe work practices
* Ensures assigned task are completed efficiently, cost effectively and in a timely manner.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
* Conduct repairs and maintenance of fuel oil dispensers and related fueling equipment
* Conduct repairs and maintenance of food service equipment
* Conduct repairs and maintenance of structural systems such as roofs, walls, doors, ceilings, etc.
* Support the setup and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and conduct repairs when necessary
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician: Qualified applicants shall possess the following:
* Possess a valid State driver's license and a clean driving record
* High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
* Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician or in related field
* EPA Certification in accordance with 40 CFR Part 82
* Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
* A strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
* Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including man lift, dump trailer, pump trailer, and small hand tools to name a few
* A strong working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and metering devices
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
