Position Summary Responsible for the diagnosis, repair and preventive maintenance of CNC multi-axis machining equipment in a factory environment on first shift. Schedules and conducts TPMs on machines on a timely basis. Manages unplanned machine repairs and interfaces well with stakeholders, including employees, vendors and management. Identifies methods and solutions while providing maintenance know-how, mentoring and leadership in order to provide a high level of service and results.
Essential Functions Identifies potential issues with machinery
· Schedules and conducts preventive maintenance
· Manages unplanned machine repair requests
· Repairs or replaces machine parts as needed
· Schedules and works with OEM repair personnel
· Operates with a sense of urgency and a focus on safety
· Communicates effectively with management, employees and vendors
· Excellent attitude and teamwork
Experience and Education · A minimum of 3 years of work experience in an OEM service repair role or factory maintenance experience in a CNC machine environment
· Experience in the mechanical, electrical or HVAC field
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Degree/certificate from vocational school or college program is a plus, but experience may substitute for education
Competencies and Skills · Technical capacity in mechanical, electronic or HVAC systems
· Diagnostic, problem-solving and analysis
· Ability to read and understand equipment manuals
· Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
· Skilled with hand and power tools
· Communication proficiency
· Ability to work independently
· Results-driven
· Computer literacy
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
