Description We are partnered with a global seafood company with a passion for customers, passion for seafood, and a passion to be the best in everything that they do! We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician (Day Shift) that will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing food processing and packaging equipment used in industrial environment.
Responsibilities: Operates at level of apprentice with sense of urgency to learn all plant processing/packaging equipment issues
Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics on plant processing/packaging equipment
Maintains proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP) and HACCP guidelines
Qualifications: Minimum High School diploma
1 to 3 years industrial maintenance experience
Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
Good decision making skills
Able to lift 50 lbs intermittently
Good industrial electrical knowledge.
Good knowledge of the proper use of the tools of the trade
