Maintenance Technician

Duties/Responsibilities:
•Assist with preparing schedule for repairing all machines
•Repair all machines that break down – will require strong electrical knowledge and experience
•Maintain a preventive maintenance on all machines
•Maintain and manage inventory on all parts;   o rder parts for all machines as needed
•Assist with scheduling contractors ' work in the plant
•Assist in moving machines and departments
•Create new ideas for better production
•Work with outside vendors on purchasing new and used equipment as well as maintenance of equipment that cannot be performed on site
•Perform scheduled repairs on all over the road vehicles, trailers, and forklifts
•Secure plant for closing each night and assist with the morning start-up as needed
•Ability to work late hours, including weekends as needed
•Operate grinding, drill press, power tools
•Welding
•Assist production staff as needed
•Other duties as assigned by manager
The ideal candidate will have skills and experience as listed above and the ability to develop other newer maintenance team members.
