Responsibilities
• Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment• Assist co-workers and work in a team environment• Maintain housekeeping standards for the facility• Communicate work performed and equipment statuses• Help meet production waste and quality goals• Read and understand work instructions• Conduct scheduled maintenance on equipment• Work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy environment• Demonstrate leadership skills and train others
Requirements
• Experience using tools, turning, and boring set ups• Experience troubleshooting conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps• Experience with industrial equipment installation, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair• Experience with fabrication, welding, and cutting torch• Experience operating hoisting and lifting devices• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, and gearboxes• Experience with precision motor and coupling alignment• Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and hydraulic schematics• Experience with precision measurements and layout procedures• High school diploma or equivalent• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical and technical training• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Wood Mill Environment
