Responsibilities
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance work• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment• Dismantle and replace/repair defective parts• Experienced with hydraulic and pneumatic circuits• Repair electric circuits with understanding of electrical schematic diagrams• Learn new equipment operation, troubleshooting, and repairs• Determine materials needed for service/repair of equipment• Organize and maintain maintenance areas and stock room• Ensure good housekeeping• Interact and guide other maintenance staff and production operators• Operate forklift• Cover vacations and other absences• Have good computer skills• Observe all safety practices and rules• Work as part of a team• Accept other duties/changes as required
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous manufacturing work experience• Good written and verbal communication skills• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English• Recognize and understand numbers and values• Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills• Schedule flexibility• Desire for continuing education• Proficiency in at least four trades
