Knit-Rite has an immediate opening in Kansas City, KS for a Full Time Maintenance Technician!
What You'll Get To Do Our Maintenance Technician performs maintenance on any assigned equipment in addition to running some knitting equipment as a backup operator when necessary.
Our Maintenance Technician will be responsible for identify maintenance issues, perform regular maintenance on various machinery, including knitting machines, washers, dryers, and sewing machines. The Facilities Technician will also help maintain the yarn inventory by conducting physical inventory counts and unloading trucks as needed when yarn is delivered.
The Essentials Our Maintenance Technician will be a critical part of our maintenance team! This right candidate that fills this position will also help keep up our preventative maintenance schedule, follow lock out/tag out procedures, be a backup for knitting machine operators when needed, and also serve as a back up for other members of the maintenance team.
