Easlan Management is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Maintenance Technician for 10 Newbridge Apartment in Asheville NC .
Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, executing repairs, troubleshooting, ensuring apartment turnovers, and performing preventative maintenance. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Functions Respond promptly to maintenance requests. Perform repairs and maintenance on vacated apartments, including minor painting, repair walls, doors, woodwork, plumbing, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, landscape pruning, and electrical work. Maintain properties' interior and exterior appearance to enhance 'street curb appeal' for potential tenants. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, *unless otherwise specified by the property.
After hours on call for emergencies is mandatory. Some occasional weekend work may be required. Qualifications 2 years of previous maintenance experience preferred. Prior experience in apartment property maintenance preferred. Comfortable with duties related to maintaining apartment units Neat, well-groomed, and well-spoken, with the ability to interact professionally with potential and current residents Skills Ownership and provision of necessary tools for assigned duties. Proficient use of hand tools and maintenance equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
