Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $39/hour This position will work off-shift, either 2nd (2:30 pm to 11 pm) or 3rd shift (10:30 pm to 7 am). What's a typical day as Maintenance Supervisor? You'll be: • Providing supervision to, and scheduling work for the skilled trades employees maintaining foundry equipment
• Ensuring safety, environmental, and ergonomic compliance of all work completed by direct reports
• Planning and prioritizing work effectively, adapting for changing conditions
• Leading safety through regular safety communications, driving engagement in the CI Safety and Ergonomic Risk Assessment process, prompt near miss reporting with a focus on quick, thorough safety corrective actions
• Leading employee engagement activities, while establishing a positive employee environment through communications, feedback, and overall guidance
This job might be an outstanding fit if you: • Have experience using SAP plant maintenance for scheduling work and purchasing repair components
• Have 5 or more years of experience maintaining industrial equipment
• Have experience troubleshooting complex hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems
• Have a good understanding of the 1910 OSHA CFR
• Are competent using Microsoft Office
• Are an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment
• Have experience troubleshooting machines using RS Logix (desired)
• Have a good understanding of 480V Power Distribution (desired)
• Have 5 or more years of experience working in foundry maintenance (desired)
• Have 5 or more years of experience in maintenance supervision (desired)
• Have demonstrated team leadership skills (desired)
• Have experience initiating and managing changes to drive improvements (desired)
• Have experience with wage/union employee policies, practices, procedures, and work rules (desired)
Education: Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, other equivalent technical discipline (or 5+ years in a maintenance role within a foundry environment)
