One of our clients is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a day shift for their plant in Shelburne, ON. Shift - Days
Primary Responsibilities: Engage in process enhancements, upgrades, and address recurring issues.
Diagnose and resolve electrical problems, encompassing sensor upkeep, programming, variable frequency drives, servo motors and controllers, as well as communication systems.
Offer technical expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing intricate machinery.
Focus on enhancing processes across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
Proficient in interpreting diagrams for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, logic, process flow, and instrumentation; adept at instructing others in this skill.
Mentor and cultivate the skills of operators and fellow technicians.
Establish and oversee preventative maintenance and annual rebuilding initiatives.
Collaborate with suppliers to minimize equipment downtime and repair expenses.
Manage inventories of parts and supplies.
Qualifications & Skills: Possess a minimum of 5 years of electromechanical experience within a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing setting (preferably in the food industry).
Experience with Krones machinery would be an asset.
Hold at least 2 years of experience leading and developing others in a technical capacity.
Have a minimum of 1 year of involvement in continuous improvement projects.
Candidates with an Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate would be preferred for this role.
Demonstrate a strong proficiency in preventative maintenance programs (CMMS).
