Aerotek is hiring IMMEDIATELY for a maintenance manager for a manufacturing site in Sussex County, DE. This position is a Direct Hire offering a competitive salary & benefits package.
Description: The maintenance manager is focused on the supervision, leadership, and structure of maintenance team for a manufacturer. The maintenance manager is responsible for overseeing the internal maintenance team, outside contractors and setting priority & direction. Responsibilities include: maintaining manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, managing the maintenance department budget, and monitoring safety program. Other duties include project management, driving maintenance & reliability programs, and conducting training & development meetings. This position reports to the plant manager.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in industrial maintenance leadership OR manufacturing leadership/operations
- Ability to bring structure and a methodical approach when building out a maintenance program strategy
- Knowledge of CMMS programs, asset management, budgeting
- Experience/knowledge of regulatory compliance as it pertains to the plant/maintenance program
- Knowledge/focus on safety development programs & training
- Lean manufacturing knowledge & experience
- Ability to manage & lead groups with various backgrounds/skillsets: mechanics, engineers, and electricians
