The position will maintain, service, and repair plant machinery, electrical, and facilities. Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical conditions.
Ensure operation of machinery and electronic equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machinery, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions. Locate sources of problem and repair in a safe and timely manner. Forestry Chain of Custody (COC) Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to work safely on and around industrial machinery Desire to develop troubleshooting skills on a wide array of machinery Ability to work closely with OEM technicians to facilitate repairs to machinery Teamwork – The ability to work effectively as part of a team to support the maintenance needs of the production floor Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull and carry objects Manufacturing Plant environment Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving you whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Lifts up to 20lbs Frequent standing and bending for up to 8-12 hours per day
