What you'll be doing:
In this role, this individual will be responsible to serve as the liaison between hard-copy and soft-copy documents, ensuring client and company requirements are followed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process incoming mail including: opening mail, client identification, determine the criticality of the document, prepping, scanning and retention, in accordance to company and client procedures.
Create balance control spreadsheet for payments received via incoming mail and quality assurance review prior to hand-off to Payment Processing.
Gather, prep and scan documents received from clients, including quality assurance review.
Quality assurance review, prepping and posting of outbound mail.
Use Datacap software to index correspondence to account, abiding by all company and client procedures.
Assist with the maintenance of the imaging room and scanning equipment.
Provide backup as needed to the Mail Processor Manager; may include troubleshooting batch problems, quality assurance procedures, and as assigned.
Understand and adhere to Company information, security and privacy responsibilities as detailed in the Information Resource Usage Policy, Employee Manual, and client-specific publications.
Requirements
Education/Skills/Experience:
Associate's Degree
or equivalent experience
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrates initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
Utilize clear verbal and written communication skills
Suggest process improvements with continued attention to document control guidelines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word
