Position: Magellan Platform Developer
Location: Charlotte NC/Denver CO/Louisville KY (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months Contract
Client: Apex / Charter Communications Louisville Pay Rate: $55/hr. on W2 With NO Benefits Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs for the Magellan engineering platform using Node.js.
Lead MongoDB integration and optimization efforts focusing on platform performance and scalability.
Work alongside frontend developers and system architects to ensure a cohesive user experience across the platform.
Implement software development best practices including code refactoring unit testing and continuous integration to maintain code quality and application performance.
Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Explore and integrate new technologies and methodologies such as AWS for cloud services and graph databases for complex data relationships.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in software development network engineering technologies and microservices architecture to enhance the Magellan platform.
