Machinist needed for Yoh Staffing Services Client, located in Kalispell, MT . This position is available as a 18 month contract with a good chance of going permanent.
This is for the number one producer of ion implanters in the world.
Shifts two positions:
1 position - 10 hours swing shift - 4.30 pm to 3 am - Monday to Thursday
1 position - 10 hours day shift - 6 am to 4.30 pm - Monday to Thursday
The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess: Experience in operating CNC Mill or CNC Lathe running machinery such as Sandblaster, power washer, bead blaster, and ovens. Ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings. Use of power tools Can perform basic calculations. What You'll Be Doing: Safely operate a CNC Mill or CNC Lathe preforming basic operations in producing parts, modifications and repairs to existing parts and assemblies, and/or fabricating parts from steels, stainless steels, aluminum, plastics and other non-metals. Support in-house customers. Portrays a customer service approach. Utilizes work orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine matching process, procedures, tooling and fixtures requirements. Performs basic machining and/or assembly tasks utilizing standard machine shop equipment. Plans and performs basic machine set ups. Possess the ability to perform basic calculations, which are required to accurately calculate angles used in set-ups and machining. Makes full use of machine capacity to minimize amount of machining or number of set-ups required to produce parts competitively. Performs machining operations. Monitor machines and verify that part dimensions conform to specifications. Performs visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications using a variety of tools. Maintains cleanliness of the work area and ensures proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss. Conforms to departmental safety requirements. Opportunity is calling, apply now!
