Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations. Set up and operate manual machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills. Select the appropriate tools, materials, and machining processes for each job. Monitor machine operations to ensure workpieces meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document all production activities, including setup procedures, machine parameters, and quality inspections. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is preferred. Proven experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
