Position: Aerospace Machine Shop Manager
Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of machinists and operators to meet production goals while fostering a positive work environment. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for skill enhancement and performance enhancement. Operational Oversight: Take charge of day-to-day operations in the machine shop, ensuring seamless workflow and on-time project completion. Develop and execute production schedules, prioritizing tasks to fulfill customer requirements. Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold rigorous quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of precision and quality in machined components. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any quality-related issues promptly and effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in a leadership capacity within a machine shop environment. Profound expertise in machining processes, CNC programming, and tooling. Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated track record of effectively managing and motivating diverse teams. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
