Our client, a leading innovator in chemical technology for automotive maintenance and repair, is looking for experienced technicians to perform complex repairs under minimal supervision to maintain on-site machinery and equipment. We are looking to fill 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities starting at $25/hour minimum (place shift premium). Machine A Operator Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour 2 nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm (Monday – Friday) Direct Hire Opportunity The Machine A Operator is responsible for the following: Operating filling and packaging equipment according to procedures Tending to machines that perform various packaging functions such as filling, labeling, packing or closing containers. Responsible for adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, loading, maintenance, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines Organizing and performing job in accordance with bills of material and routing instructions Responsible for quality inspection of goods to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications Completion of all required paperwork for production as needed by MFG procedures Identifying problems and assisting in troubleshooting Assisting in training of new operators and assisting other teams as needed Promoting and following all safety guidelines and procedures, and recommending safety improvements as needed Forklift experience required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent At least 3 years previous experience as a Machine Operator in a Manufacturing environment Previous experience working with filling and packaging lines and/or consumer products. Able to lift at least 65 pounds occasionally. Able to stand for 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.
