1 Resource Group is hiring a Machine Operator on the Northeast side of Houston, Texas!
Responsibilities for Machine Operator
The programming and combination of various automation technologies (robots, vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, ) into highly integrated systems Must know coordinate synchronous motion Weekend and holiday work will be required Develop and improve programs PLC, Robot, CNC by using software to ensure efficient, cost effective process cycles Must adhere to Rollstamp safety policies and procedures Work comfortably with sometimes very tight timelines, and able to plan and stick to the plan Make programs or changes based on verbal instructions, data or drawings Check completed programs by running simulations, tests or measurements Prepare geometric layout of designs using proper software Determine best sequence of operations by analyzing job order and perform necessary calculations Requirements Qualifications for Machine Operator
High School Diploma or GED Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience Must be detail-oriented Understanding of production and plant processes Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to work in a team Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary) Benefits of working as a Machine Operator in Houston, TX:
