The Machine Operator ensures plant orderliness, cleanliness, and safety.Handles product sorting and rejects any piece that does not meet quality standards.

Responsibilities
• Follow the direction of the floor supervisors and plant manager• Do not change or move around any part of the assigned workstation• Read and understand applicable quality control documents• Sign off on quality control documents after performing necessary tasks• Reject any piece that does not meet quality standards• Ensure all packaged products are of utmost quality• Report promptly to floor supervisor when assigned machine is down• Perform grinder checks to ensure proper granulating function• Grind in appropriate designated grinder and report any incidents to supervisor• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent• Good communication skills• Good reading and writing skills• Production line experience, a plus• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
