Location: Sanford
Pay: $15 DOE Operating Grinding Machines: Metal grinders use abrasive wheels or belts to remove excess material from metal workpieces, creating the desired shape or finish.
Setting Up Equipment: Metal grinders need to set up and adjust the grinding machines, ensuring they are properly calibrated and safe to use.
Reading Blueprints and Specifications: Metal grinders may need to interpret technical drawings and follow specifications to ensure the finished product meets the required dimensions and quality standards.
Inspecting Finished Products: After grinding metal pieces, the grinder may need to inspect them for defects or deviations from the required specifications.
Maintaining Machinery: Regular maintenance of grinding equipment is essential to keep it in optimal working condition, ensuring safety and efficiency.
