Quality and Safety is our priority in this position.
We are looking for a few machine operators to train on our Punch Press machine. We are willing to train the right individuals for this role as long as they are committed to learning and staying on the project. A positive attitude is our core value in this role.
If you have any of the following skills it will be an asset and make your training easier.
· Able to read blue prints and/or follow instruction to ascertain set up and materials required.
· Able to set up tooling, set gauges and guards to produce a number of different notches, holes, extrusions according to specifications on drawings.
· Able to maintain production process in an efficient and effective state.
· Able to install tooling and program depth gauges of various sizes and degrees to bend, to form simple to semi complex parts.
· Set up and operate the following machines: Small Punch Presses (80 Ton Komatsu, 120 Ton Aida and 150 Ton Aida), Large Punch Presses (330 Ton Komatsu and 300 Ton AllSteel)
MAJOR INTERSECTION: Birchmount and Ellesmere
