Pay Rate: $14-16.00/hour
Hours: 6am to 2:30pm Monday thru Friday
What's a typical day as Warehouse Machine Operator Helper? You'll be:
Required to help with the operation of all required equipment to pack-out dry blends, liquids, dispersions, emulsions, and natural colors
Required to clean all blenders and tanks after each batch is completed or as needed
Must be able to read, follow, and complete all manufacturing log sheets
May be required to be cross trained as an operator to fill in as needed on a temporary basis
Completes production activities as assigned by production supervisor during shift and working required overtime as needed
Follow safety rules and report all incidents/accidents to the production supervisor immediately
Must be able to operate a forklift and obtain forklift certification
Required to follow all SOP's (standard operating procedures) and GMP's (good manufacturing practices)
Required to perform daily scheduled cleaning tasks to ensure and maintain a sanitary work area
Work to improve processes and reduce the overall cost of production by reducing product waste
Communicate effectively with team and supervisor by reporting all pertinent information
Perform additional duties that may be assigned by production supervisor or management as and when needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Minimum 6 months or more work experience in a production environment preferably with the chemical industry or industrial environment.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
In-depth understanding and practical experience with production, manufacturing operations preferred.
Must have some mixing, blending, and weighing experience.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check (on felonies or open cases)
Ability to apply commonsense to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must be able to perform basic math skills
