Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an entry level Machine Operator!This is a 1st shift position with hours of 6:00am 2:00pm, Monday-Friday The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hourTIDI Products values and encourages individual development, so we developed a career path to provide meaningful growth opportunities for our machine operators. Upon completion of the training period, machine operators are eligible to move up to the next level and receive a pay increase!Essential responsibilities of the entry level machine operator are:Safe operation of machines and other equipment Ensuring all finished product is properly packaged for shipment to the customer Under direct supervision during training, performance of quality checks of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and ability to recognize product outside the specified tolerance Active communication with material handlers regarding materials needed for current and upcoming orders. Accurate completion ofpaperwork and label verification Responsible for neat and accurate production reports and quality check sheets on a daily basis, with direction from trainerAbility to safely develop and perform the following operator duties on one machine under direct supervision - when necessaryDuring the training period, the entry-level machine operator will learn the following:How to operate equipment safely Quality guidelines Loading of parent rolls on unwinds Webbing machines Tension adjustments Shimming and adjusting cutting equipment Set-ups ChangeoversAbout TIDI ProductsTIDI Products is a global manufacturer of medical devices.
