Job Title: M365 Engineer Location: National Harbor, MD (Hybrid)
Type: Full Time
Compensation : $80,000 to $120,000 DOE, Annually + Benefits
Cloudforce is seeking a talented, full-time M365 Engineer to modernize businesses through Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions. This role's primary focus will be on leveraging platforms such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams to enhance productivity, collaboration, and efficiency for our clients.
In this client-facing role, the M365 Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and challenges. Leveraging deep expertise in M365 technologies, the Engineer will design tailored solutions that align with clients' strategic goals and industry best practices. While proficiency in Azure is not mandatory, it is highly desirable, as it enables the delivery of integrated solutions that leverage the full capabilities of both M365 and Azure platforms.
Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage M365 solutions including OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams. Provide expertise in configuring and optimizing M365 environments to ensure seamless integration and user adoption, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Entra ID solutions. Deliver M365 solutions to client environments that adhere to industry standard frameworks and best practices. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective M365 solutions. Create and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts. Manage user access, permissions, and security settings for M365 services. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Conduct training sessions and assist with onboarding processes to educate clients on utilizing SharePoint and other collaboration tools effectively. Develop and maintain user guides and documentation for collaboration tools and processes. Evaluate and recommend new M365 services and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Microsoft products and services, incorporating relevant updates into client projects, implementations, and strategies. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience years of experience in implementing and managing Microsoft 365 solutions, with a focus on OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams. Experience with hybrid cloud environments, including integration of on-premises infrastructure with Azure and M365 services. Strong proficiency in administrating, securing, and setting baseline configurations of the M365 Admin portal. Demonstrated ability to lead technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge sharing initiatives for clients and internal teams. Experience with Tenant-to-Tenant migrations and/or solutioning for mergers & acquisitions. Knowledge of IT security and compliance policies and procedures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively. Preferred Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are a plus.
