We are seeking a skilled and reliable lube technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive maintenance. As a lube technician, you will be responsible for performing routine oil changes and other basic maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the automotive industry and is eager to learn and grow. Our Lube technicians who exhibit a good attitude and desire to enhance their career have the opportunity for advancement into a service repair technician apprenticeship and tuition reimbursement. Here at Ricart Automotive, approximately 60% of our technicians have been developed through one of these training pathways. Several of our technicians who were once apprentices themselves are now mentoring the next generation of automotive technicians.
Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes and lubrication services on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications Inspect vehicles for any additional maintenance or repair needs Replace filters, fluids, and other basic automotive components as needed Keep accurate records of services performed and recommendations for future maintenance Assist other technicians with more complex repairs as needed Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a lube technician or similar role is preferred but not required Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record of 6 points or less
