Position Duties and Responsibilities Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, with company standards. Drain oil from the crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil. Replaces oil and air filters. Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes. Check tire pressure and add air if needed. Communicates with the parts department to obtain anything needed. Report machinery defects or malfunctions to your supervisor. Document all work performed on the repair order. Keep the shop area neat and clean. Maintains and is accountable for the company tools and manuals. Return them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with Federal, State and Local Regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Report and safety issues immediately to your supervisor. Ensures that guest cars are kept clean. Notifies the supervisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. Comply with safety rules, guidelines and standards Willing to learn and develop new techniques Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of Swift Recon Educational High school diploma or equivalent and 6 month to 1+ year of experience/training Position Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license Under the state of Oklahoma Unity Bill, this position is classified as a "Safety Sensitive Position" due to the job requirement of driving a vehicle Able to read and understand simple instructions, write simple correspondence. Use computers, tablets and other electronic device Understanding any documents Such Safety Rules, Operating and Maintenance Instructions and Procedure Manuals. Physical Activity Frequent Standing ? walking ? reaching ? pushing ? pulling ? lifting ? carrying ? finger and wrist movement ? grasping ? feeling ? talking ? hearing ? visual acuity. Occasional: bending ? crouching. Infrequent: sitting ? driving ? climbing ? balancing ? repetitive motions.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Position is based in a normal shop environment. Daily activity as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds. Must be able to push/pull parts, carts and cars with assistance. Working environment consists of: Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Automotive Industries enforces the Mandatory requirement to wear protective equipment. Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment. Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned
