Responsibilities
• Perform work outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy• Drain and refill crankcase with required amount of oil• Replace oil and air filters• Inspect and replace vehicle fluid levels as necessary• Check and adjust tire pressure• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants• Communicate with parts department for needed parts• Examine assigned vehicle for further safety or service work• Document all work performed and recommended• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
Requirements
• Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to Service Manager• Maintain dealership tools and manuals• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local requirements• Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner• Wear and utilize safety equipment at all times• Keep shop area neat and clean• Maintain a safe work environment• Maintain a professional appearance• Follow directions and work rules• Interact well with others and be a positive influence
