Responsibilities
• Monitor patient and family needs• Plan, coordinate, teach, counsel, and provide direct physical care• Assist in providing delegated aspects of care• Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Requirements
• Graduation from high school or GED• Graduation from accredited school of Practical Nursing• Experience with medical terminology and medications• Experience with medical office procedures• Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation• Current license as a practical nurse in the state of Kansas• Basic Life Support certification• Preferred: IV Therapy Certification from State of Kansas Board of Nursing• Additional certifications may be required depending on department/unit assigned
