Responsibilities
• Ensure quality and safe resident care services• Promote resident physical and emotional health by assisting and teaching• Comply with Assisted Living Policies and Procedures• Provide personal care services reflecting the plan of service• Follow Infection Control and Safety Policies• Observe resident conditions and accurately report• Evaluate emergencies and determine actions• Maintain optimum level of function for seniors• Assist with transfer of residents without endangering• Effectively communicate with residents, families, and associates
Requirements
• Current license as an LPN in state of employment• 1 or more years' experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care• Familiarity with drug actions and interactions• Accurate and comprehensive assessment skills• Patience and courtesy in dealing with residents and families• Decision-making and communication skills• Ability to assist with transfer of residents of any body weight• Effective written and verbal communication in English
