TILE: Lot AttendantHourly Position: $16.00 per hourPOSITION INFORMATION:The idea candidate for the Lot Attendant position needs to have high energy level, positive attitude, have a neat appearance and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and stay busy. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Must has a valid driver's license and a clean driving record and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen along with random monthly drug tests.BENEFITS:Health, Medical, Dental and Vision401K PlanPaid Time off and VacationGrowth OpportunitiesEmployee Vehicle Purchase PlansDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to work individually however must check-in with manager throughout the day (morning, before lunch and before the end of shift) for any change to assignments for the day.Check lot vehicles new and used that they have lock boxes, buyer's guides, stickers, gas, etc.Keep both the lot and cars clean, which includes removal of any trash, cigarettes, or weeds by picking them up and disposing of them in the trash.Keep the showroom clean by dusting vehicles. In addition, when custodians are unavailable that trash cans have been emptied and tables are clean.Key Room responsible for keeping the room clean and organized and making sure all gas cards are back in the key box.Weather permitting the wash truck should be used every day.Keep the wash bay clean and organized. In addition to locking all wash bays, turn off lights and heaters.Deliveries – Lot Attendant must be professional, clean, and quick as possible. Take deliveries to the delivery area and check over the vehicle.New Car Deliveries – Fill with fuel, wash and clean the interior and exterior of the vehicle, dry with chamois, clean wheels, check truck, wipe down and vacuum as needed, vacuum interior, remove stickers and clean all windows with a clean towel, wipe down console and dash, make sure seats are clean, check pick-up bed and clean if applicable.Take keys to the delivery person or salesperson and reinspect to make sure vehicle is ready for delivery.Dealer Trades and License Plates for customers – must be able to listen to and hear overhead pages.Make sure all vehicles on the lot and bullpen are locked. If keys are in the vehicles, put them in the drop box in the details wash bay door.Make sure when closing everything is locked up.QUALIFICATIONS:. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
