Seeking Part Time grounds focused technician.Full Time hours avalible with cross trianing into other departments.Starting at $16/hourResponsibilities• Ensure the coaster and miniature golf are in compliance with ASTM standards and manufacturer guidelines as all times.• Implement and maintain operational, safety, productivity, quality, cleanliness, and customer-service standards, and resolve problems as they arise.• Hire, supervise, train, coach, and discipline team members. Schedule team according to business needs.• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments for the ride systems.• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair other systems including automation, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.• Oversee grounds and building maintenance plans.• Remove fallen trees and other obstacles to the safe operation of the coaster as they arise.• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on coaster equipment and other mechanical devices.• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to determine required maintenance and service.• Daily inspection of coaster equipment and operation of mini golf grounds• Maintain safe and healthy work environment, compliant with all applicable legal codes and regulations and company policies.• Comply with all Employee Handbook policies and other rules and regulations of Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf• Document maintenance activities and close out work orders.• Assume a leadership role in case of emergencies such as power outages, inclement weather, and incidents.• Learn new tasks and skills as needed.• Other duties as assigned.Requirements• Display positive leadership skills at all times.• Able to multi-task and maintain composure in pressure situations.• Able to safely operate hand power tools such as electric drills, saws, grinders, hoists, impact wrenches, etc.• Able to operate a two-way radio.• Able to operate heavy equipment preferred (required: pickup truck, UTV, forklift).• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.• Able to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop and reach.• Able to properly use a respirator and pass a full-face respirator fit test, if needed• Able to sit or stand for up to 12 hours; able to traverse and work on hilly terrain for an extended period of time.• Able to wear personal protection equipment as needed.• Able to maintain personal hygiene standards.• Able to get along with coworkers, work cooperatively and resolve conflicts.• Able to work outdoors in all temperatures and conditions.• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment.• Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language• Able and willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.Education and Experience• Management or supervisory experience required.• Ride maintenance experience required.• Mountain coaster maintenance experience strongly preferred.• Must be at least 18 years old.• High school diploma or equivalent required.
