How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:
As a Support Services Technician, you will provide routine support services for all local LifeNet facilities, including package deliveries, supplies & equipment transport. You will also provide general support services to fulfill special customer requests.
Important: You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift.
What you'll do:
Performs general support activities such as: moving equipment and furniture, shipping UPS packages and minor grounds inspections. Safely operates assigned trucks, vans, forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment for storage and transportation of supplies and equipment between all LifeNet facilities. Fulfills support requests upon receipt and ensures timely delivery of interdepartmental mail, personal packages, supplies and unprocessed human tissue shipments. Unloads vehicles using forklift, hand truck and/or by hand then places items in the appropriate holding area for processing. Pulls inventory supplies for customer orders and prepares them for verification prior to delivery. Receives and documents all incoming shipments for tracking and delivery. Performs initial inspection and storage of incoming unprocessed donorsStocks and rotates all supplies in accordance with prescribed inventory storage methods. Able to work collaboratively in a team environmentAble to effectively communicate verbally and in writing *The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate's qualifications including prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $15.00/hourly (entry-level qualifications) to $20.00/hourly (experienced in this role).
*Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
*This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on certain criteria being met.
