Basic Purpose:
Coordinates Vesta's logistical resources to accommodate the job scopes related to the various projects completed by Vesta field teams.
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
GENERAL
Arrive to work area by the scheduled start time Maintain a positive, professional attitude Abide by company policies and procedures at all times Assist in the ongoing cleanliness/organization of the work site Maintains a safe work environment and keeps management informed of any safety hazards Assist others as needed Provide accurate time cards through the proper use of their ADP payroll app Communicates well with Management keeping them informed of time off requests Keeps management informed of challenges they experience within the workplace Other assignments and tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor Follow all SOPs governing the tasks involved with successfully completing the duties assigned Should be prepared to assist with coverage in other logistics support roles when coverage is needed (Scheduling, Quality Control) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Allocate the market's logistical resources to complete the necessary tasks pertaining to the scheduled activities from the calendar by routing trucks, assigning team members, and distributing equipment. Monitor incoming communication through various platforms regarding next day activities to ensure field teams have all of the necessary information to successfully complete their tasks Communicate updates in route status with the Customer Experience team to ensure the teams are meeting the customers delivery window expectations. Monitors and tracks field teams inputs in Dispatch Tracking software to ensure compliance with company policies Assists field teams with challenges experienced in the field by providing call-in support and acting as a direct liaison with the Logistics Manager. Assist the Logistics Manager with Safety initiatives by providing reporting of field incidents Assists with the collection and memorialization of DOT required reports Works closely with the warehouse teams to communicate vital information from the field teams Requirements Required Education and Experience:
HS diploma or equivalent
