The Logistics Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for logistics execution , managing shipments, reporting transportation metrics, identifying trends across transportation methods and practices, providing visibility through projects and tools, ensuring that internal customers need are met and that company policy and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to .
This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Team located in Whiteland, Indiana and will be hybrid, onsite 3+ days a week. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do: Drive shipments to meet our global on time delivery, spend and quality metrics along with meeting the customer needs and primary contact globally in reference to the logistics process Work cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, supply chain and finance to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes Continuous internal communication with global pole managers/transportation teams providing input on internal/external orders. Drive data analysis and business case development for key projects resulting in VCP savings through freight tracker initiatives Use Lean/DBS continuous tools for problem solving, and standardization of transportation processes across the region Who you are: Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management; OR a High School diploma/GED and 5+ years of work experience in logistics, or supply chain management Demonstrated experience working effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment including regular international interface Experience driving shipments to meet on time delivery, spend and quality metrics Proven agility working with and meeting customer needs and strong problem resolution and analytical skills Strong project handling and communication abilities for developing and influencing at all levels organizationally #LI-MR1
