Job Description Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials and documents to customers and stakeholders and providing exceptional customer service. In this position you are required to represent Watson Security/KENDELL professionally. This position requires the ability to pass a MVR to be insured under KENDELL's insurance policy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities : 1. Perform Delivery activities efficiently and safely
Conduct vehicle inspections before departing to deliver materials Pack and load construction materials on to trucks according to company specifications Unload materials on site in designated areas specified by the customers/clients Deliver to designated sites including: job sites, construction zones, drop off sites, and other KENDELL facilities Review deliveries with customers to ensure materials/orders are accurate and not damaged Maintain communication between internal staff and customers Communicate with internal and external staff to problem solve any discrepancies with shipments Communicate schedules and delays to customer/clients and internal staff Obtain delivery confirmations form each customer/client 2. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and other company property
Ensure all routine maintenance is completed timely and any problems with vehicle are immediately reported to the Warehouse Lead and/or Production Manager Operate vehicles, tools and equipment for intended use only Follow Organization and Policies and all KENDELL and jobsite/onsite safety policies Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits; required: use of eye/ear protection, masks; compliance with OSHA standards, organization safety standards, and dress code Additional Duties and Responsibilities May Include: 3. Participate in meetings
4. Work overtime or "On-Call" as needed
5. Help with Basic Shipping and Receiving Duties
Work Relationship and Scope:  Reports to General Manager. May work independently or on a team. Regularly interacts with customers.
Measures of Performance/Competencies: Complete daily work in established time frame with minimal errors Report any accidents or damage to materials, property, or vehicle right away Follow all established safety, PPE, and organizational rules/policies/procedures Consistent and dependable attendance and quality of work Participate or assist with all shipping related activities as directed by management Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years driving in city traffic and on highways, and with parallel parking. Good communication and comprehension skills Must possess a positive and professional attitude and provide superior customer experience Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently No recent moving or driving violations (per Kendell's driving policy) Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Physical Abilities: Perform repeated physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials; Arm-Hand Steadiness — The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position; Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer); Multi-limb Coordination — The ability to coordinate two or more limbs; Physical Strength - The ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and heavier weights with assistance OSHA10 Certification (certification can be received after hire) Working Conditions: Outdoor, Indoor, at client/customer facilities. Use of safety equipment required.
