Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Position: Our Blood Institute is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to manage OKC logistics and coordinate sub-center blood product services and logistics to ensure Quality and Compliance and the Oklahoma Blood Institute policies and procedures and all regulatory agencies.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; College education preferred Logistics experience required 3-5 years supervisory experience required Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license If selected, must provide driving record with zero points and no moving/traffic violations in the last 3 years Primary Responsibilities: Work with sub-center BPS departments including logistics and inventory management, as needed. Coordinate activities and changes between main center and each sub-center. Implement efficiencies with the Logistics Director between OKC and the sub-center BPS departments. Ensure compliance with all OBI procedures. Work with the Director, BPS Coordinators, sub-center Director and main center BPS management to assess and identify areas for improvement. Ensure that corrective action to identified problems is implemented appropriately. Assist with the training program at each sub-center location for BPS Staff. Ensure that all training is completed on time and returned to the main center training coordinator. Direct supervision of all main center logistics staff including hiring, annual review, and disciplinary action. Main center logistics scheduling for all logistics activities including collections, hospital deliveries, and equipment relocations. Determination of fleet maintenance, allocation, and accident reporting. Support and development of quality improvement. Reporting performance data as appropriate. Revision and/or authorship of standard operating procedures. Track that all couriers are trained on time and competency is verified annually/semi-annually as required, reports delinquencies to the Director of Logistics and Inventory Management.
