General Summary: This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, meeting customer delivery expectations, and on-time delivery. The Logistics Analyst is also responsible for a variety of Logistics office duties including processes and procedures to achieve accurate and timely shipping paperwork. This is done in support of corporate objectives for on-time delivery.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Daily interaction in support of Customer Care Team, 3PL Logistics Partner with respect to shipping status of various Sales Orders Print, review, and distribute outbound shipping paperwork as required Work with 3PL logistics partner and carriers to meet on time shipping requirements Processing freight claims, RGA's, re-consignments, storage approval, detention, and various customer service requests as needed Tactical problem solving of day-to-day shipping issues Daily support of Sales with respect to cost effective freight solutions including but not limited to expedited freight quotes and expedited freight alternatives Support Pre and Post Shipment request from Customer Care Team Customer updates including tracking and POD's Export documentation support Review and determine carrier changes Administrative support for Docuware, SAP Develop and cross-train to support all customer service office activities Job Qualifications:  High school diploma, or GED, is required Additional specialized training or schooling in supply chain management or a relevant field is preferred Between 1-3 years of work experience is required Previous experience in the transportation industry and/or warehouse operations is preferred Additional technical training in Supply Chain is preferred Moderate analytical skills are required Strong communication skills with both internal and external customers Previous ERP (enterprise resource planning) is required, SAP specific experience is preferred Special Notation The preceding statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people in this position.
