Locums Anesthesia Physician

We are seeking a skilled Locums Anesthesia Physician toprovide coverage for our team in Ahoskie, NC. The successful candidate willjoin our dynamic anesthesia department, providing both inpatient and outpatientanesthesia services. Ahoskie is a small townlocated in northeastern North Carolina. Situated in Hertford County, Ahoskieserves as a hub for the surrounding rural communities. The town's name is ofNative American origin, believed to mean "waiting place" or"place of high hills."
Facility Details: ·114-bed hospital with 2 main operating rooms,an Endo suite with 3 rooms, and a C-section OR.
· Procedures performed include general surgery,orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, OB/GYN, and pediatric dental.
· Emergency Department with 15 beds, servingapproximately 21,000 patients per year.
·24-hour rotational shifts.
· Average of 12-15 patients per day perAnesthesiologist.
· Approximately 8 admissions per day and 6admissions per night.
Requirements: · Medical degree and completion of anaccredited Anesthesiology residency program.
· Board certification or board eligibility inAnesthesiology.
· Valid medical license to practice in thestate of North Carolina.
· ACLS and BLS certification.
· Ability to provide backup support in theEmergency Room and ICU.
