Responsibilities
• Drive truck to deliver gases and hard goods to customer's place of business• Perform non-route deliveries as necessary• Write customer orders and instructions• Record sales or delivery information• Resolve service complaints• Issue sales promotion materials• Collect or pick up empty containers or unsold merchandise• Load truck and perform routine maintenance checks• Assist inside the store, servicing customers at dock, front counter, and over phone• Attend safety meetings and assist with other driver's duties
Requirements
• One year of Class A or B CDL driving experience or graduated from an accredited driving school• Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement• At least one full year of experience driving a Class A or B vehicle under DOT requirements• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)• Current Medical Examiner's Card• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs. routinely, and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds• Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines• Ability to work occasional overtime
