Acts as the liaison and operational point of contact for borrowers, syndicate lenders, Farm Credit System partners, and internal CoBank departments. Identifies, analyzes and resolves issues, answers questions, and proactively identifies loan administration challenges and risks to support quality control. Works collaboratively with teammates and stakeholders to facilitate continuous process improvement by leveraging principles of Operational Excellence.
1. Performs all loan servicing and administration activities in expected timeframes and according to documented policies and procedures.
2. Processes payment application, funds disbursement, and rate setting transactions in ACBS and notifies syndicate members and sold participations of transactions.
3. Books new borrowers, credit facilities, loans, letters of credit and fees in loan administration systems.
4. Completes ongoing customer, credit facility, and loan level maintenance.
5. Reviews, documents, and resolves items appearing on reconciliations and control reports.
6. Supports or leads non-processing tasks, initiatives, and projects.
7. Reads and interprets credit agreements as they relate to loan servicing and administration.
8. Cross trains on other department functions to ensure coverage during absences and periods of peak volume.
9. Serves as "Mission Critical Personnel" for business continuity and reduced staffing scenarios.
High school diploma or GED required 3 years of experience, preferably in banking or financial services. required Sedentary Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Occasional Travel occurs infrequently (typically, once a month or less).
The typical base pay range for this role is between $55,578 - $70,125. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
