Job Responsibilities Purpose Efficiently resolve inbound and outbound customer service/collection inquiries from borrowers or authorized third parties. Work with call handling requirements that balance efficiency with effective resolution of customer inquiries. Follow call strategies to maintain call quality while effectively managing call handling time. Quickly understand the reason for the customer's call, build rapport, present solutions while building trust and loyalty, and expeditiously closing the call. Servicing Specialists will have a clear understanding of company call handling policies and procedures as well as industry regulations. Have a positive outlook and a strong desire to provide quality customer service. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Handle inbound and make outbound calls to handle borrower inquiries about their mortgage loan payments, taxes and insurance, loan transfers, and any other questions borrowers may have after their loans have closed. Meet with Supervisor for consistent coaching and feedback. Maintain call adherence to company policy and procedures as well as government guidelines. Respond to all borrower inquiries and resolve borrower issues in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Functions and Responsibilities Assist borrowers in making their monthly mortgage payments. Manages tasks effectively delegated by the Loan Servicing management. Carry out assigned responsibilities with a minimum number of errors and strives for continuous improvement. Job Qualifications Experience 1-year mortgage servicing and/or call center experience with GSEexperience preferred. Education A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Courtesy, customer service, and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationship, or soliciting cooperation. Physical Requirements Requires effective communication with customers and/or other employees using common telecommunications equipment and computer equipment. Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents. May require the ability to sit, stand, and walk around for extended periods of time.
