Position Purpose This internship will primarily focus on supporting our indirect loan processing operations and providing assistance with light title work. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, develop valuable skills, and contribute to our mission of providing superior member service.
Essential Duties Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Input loan data into our system accurately and efficiently. Communicate with dealership representatives and members to gather additional information or resolve discrepancies as needed. Collaborate with team members to expedite the loan approval process and ensure timely funding. Processes indirect loans from application origination through disbursement. Funds indirect loans and maintains dealer reserve accounts by reviewing all documentation on approved contracts submitted for funding. Process lien releases for all paid off collateralized loans. Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry. Prepare reports and presentations as requested by supervisors. Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions. Other duties may be assigned. Education/Experience Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program, preferably in finance, business administration, or a related field. Basic knowledge of loan processing procedures and/or title documentation is preferred but not required. Skills/Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
