Position Overview: We are looking for a customer service-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to assist the team with providing a great experience to clients up front! This person must be experienced with working with borrowers, running credit, calculating income, and running LP/DU. They will also be gathering initial documentation and setting up a complete file to submit to Operations. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks at once, and has excellent time management.
Job Responsibilities: Maintain borrower and realtor relationships.Work up applications.Schedule appointments/calls for the Loan OfficerManage the internal CRM database.Various other tasks assigned by the Loan Officer to support the team.Run LP and DUPre-qualify/Pre-approve borrowers upfront.Gather initial documentation and put together a complete file to submit to Operations.Qualifications and Skills: Experience in Encompass is preferred but not required.Experience running LP and DUExperience pre-qualifying/pre-approving and structuring a loan file.Positive and team player attitudeCustomer service-centric and passionate about providing an exceptional level of service.Working knowledge of RESPA and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, and loan documents preferred.Excellent math and analytical skills.Excellent problem solving/creative thinking skills.Excellent communication skills.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook & Windows.Pay Range: $17.00-$22.00This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
